About Alpha delta pi
Founded May 15 in 1851 at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia, Alpha Delta Pi prides itself on being the First Secret Society for women and the leader of today’s sorority system. Alpha Delta Pi was founded on the principles of scholarship, leadership, service to others and sisterhood. These principles still guide the policies and programs of the sorority today.
At Boston University, while each member of Alpha Delta Pi is incredibly unique, we are alike in being a group of well-rounded individuals. We work hard and know how to have fun; we are strong leaders and great teammates; we are intelligent and personable; we are caring and ambitious. Through community service, sisterhood activities, cultural enrichment, and social events, ADPi strives to enrich the lives of each and every one of its members.
Members of Alpha Delta Pi build genuine and meaningful friendships with one another that last a lifetime. We work together to create and uphold bonds of trust, teamwork, friendship, struggle, and success. Through these values we help each other become better versions of ourselves, while making college memories and friendships to last long after graduation.
