It's no secret that Boston University is a competitive, rigorous academic school. In ADPi, we know how tough it can be to juggle school work and extracurricular activities. While we expect a high level of commitment from our sisters, we also expect a high level of academic achievement. We recognize that academics always come first in college and we do everything we can to support our sisters. The minimum GPA requirement for our chapter is 2.7 and ADPi has consistently ranked extremely high or first in Panhellenic GPA for the past 7 years.  This year, our chapter's average GPA was 3.2. We know our sisters are extremely bright, and we are always available to support each other when school gets difficult or overwhelming. We constantly push one another towards the highest academic achievement possible.

Our Alpha Delta Pi chapter has many resources available for sisters who need a little bit of extra help with school or who prefer to study with company.  Our scholarship chair holds library hours at least once a week, during which sisters can earn points towards a prize given out at the end of the semester.  We have also recently started a tutoring program within the chapter, in which women who feel skilled in certain classes or subjects volunteer to tutor sisters throughout the year. Outside of these organized study times, sisters can always be found on the third floor of Mugar Memorial Library, studying together in a sea of ADPi tote bags.

At the end of each semester, our scholarship chair holds a Scholarship Banquet where she gives out "Pi Awards" to sisters with a GPA of 3.14 or above. Awards for GPA's above 3.5 and 4.0 are also given out in order to recognize sisters achieving academic excellence!
